Greetings!
My name is William "Tripp" Wilson III. I am currently teaching 6th & 7th grade social studies here at Williamson High School. In addition to teaching, I am also an assistant coach with the Mighty Lions varsity football team where I coach kickers and run statistics during games. I am a lifelong resident of Theodore.
Prior to coming to Williamson, I spent a year as a Special Education teacher at Daphne High School, four years at Causey Middle School as a Special Education paraprofessional and a Career Technologies teacher, a year at Mary G. Montgomery and a year at Kate Sheppard Elementary.
While at Daphne, I was an assistant with the Girls' Soccer program that reached the 2nd Round of the AHSAA Playoffs, finished ranked 12th in the state, and won the 6A Area 2 title as well as the Adidas Southern Coast Cup in 2019.
While at Causey, I spent three years as the Special Teams Coordinator from 2015-2017, and coached the Boys' JV soccer team at Baker High School where we won the 2017 Buccaneer Bash in Fairhope.
I also spent a year coaching the JV Boys soccer team at Mary G. Montgomery in 2014.
Outside of the teacher and coaching life, I currently serve as the Vice President of the Executive Committee for the Mobile Azalea Trail Maids, as well as a committee member for the Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo and a member of the Big Wheel Society for the Greater Gulf State Fair. I am also a self-proclaimed Mardi Gras historian and certified Tourism Ambassador for the City of Mobile. During my undergrad years, I was the mascot for Troy University from 2010-2012 where I helped my character T-roy the Trojan become a nationally ranked program and even a 2nd Place finish at the 2011 National Mascot Championships and a 10th place finish in 2012.
